Caracal Cat

Built using Ashraf Hanna Raku body clay.  I have used iron and magnesium oxide and coloured with underglaze.
the amazing thing about the Caracal is the way it can swivel it’s ears to detect sound. To highlight this, I have covered one ear with copper and added verdigris by using ‘Miracle Gro’ plant fertiliser!!!! She stands on a rusty sheet metal base 9.5” tall and the Caracal on top make the piece stand at around 18” tall and the width from nose to the back of she shoulders is also 18”
